7Factor Software

Job description

About 7Factor Software
Software engineering is both an art and a science. No job on the planet allows us to produce such a wide array of solutions to new and unique problems. Software truly is "eating the world," and at 7Factor we believe that it is our utmost responsibility to take the craft of building good software seriously. We are responsible for developing software critical to our clients' business needs, so we must be in balance with expediency and constructing the Right Thingโ„ข.
As a Partner Manager at 7Factor, your job is to help us build and nurture one of our most important strategic relationships: our partnership with Amazon Web Services. You will work to deepen our presence within the AWS ecosystem, create meaningful collaboration with AWS partner and sales teams, and help generate real growth opportunities.
At 7Factor, we believe partnerships-especially within the cloud ecosystem-should be thoughtful, intentional, and mutually valuable. We don't pursue partnerships for logos or optics. We pursue them because they create better solutions for the companies we serve.
This role is about more than simply "managing a partnership." It's about understanding how ecosystems work, identifying where 7Factor adds real engineering value, and building the relationships and repeatable motions that allow us to show up as the right partner at the right time.
You must be able to connect the right partner opportunity with the right client problem.
While this role is remote, Atlanta-based candidates are preferred as many members of our team are located in the Atlanta area.
What you are:
  • A relationship builder who understands technology.
You're comfortable talking with AWS partner managers, sellers, and technical leaders about how engineering teams deliver software in the cloud. You don't need to be writing code, but you understand the value of strong architecture, DevOps practices, and modern cloud platforms.
  • An operator who understands the AWS ecosystem.

You have experience working within the AWS Partner Network and understand how partnerships within that ecosystem function. You're familiar with AWS co-sell motions, partner funding programs, and how services organizations collaborate with AWS teams to support shared customers. You also understand how AWS Marketplace listings and partner programs work, and you're comfortable navigating AWS services and cloud architecture concepts well enough to position the right solution and the right partner at the right time.
  • A strategic thinker who can also execute.
You can see how a partnership strategy should unfold over time, but you're equally comfortable doing the work required to make it happen-setting meetings, building enablement materials, and following up on opportunities.
  • A connector of people and opportunity.
You recognize when a partner need aligns with what 7Factor does well. You understand how to introduce the right people at the right moment and help turn those introductions into meaningful collaboration.
  • Organized and operationally minded.
Partnership success requires repeatable systems. You're comfortable creating playbooks, maintaining pipeline visibility, and ensuring opportunities don't get lost between organizations.
  • Curious about the broader ecosystem.
AWS is a major focus, but it exists inside a larger landscape of technology partners. You're interested in understanding the companies, platforms, and services that surround the cloud ecosystem and how they intersect with 7Factor's engineering expertise.
  • Aligned with a team-first culture.
Your job isn't to win alone. Your job is to help the entire organization succeed by building relationships that elevate the work our engineers and teams are doing.

What you are not:
  • Someone chasing partnerships for appearances.
We're not interested in collecting partner logos or superficial relationships. If a partnership doesn't create real opportunities for our engineers and our clients, it's not worth pursuing.
  • A purely transactional salesperson.
The best partnerships are built on trust and shared value. If your approach is purely about pushing deals without understanding the relationship, you will find this role frustrating.
  • An individual operator disconnected from the team.
Partnerships at 7Factor work because they involve engineering leadership, business leadership, and delivery teams. If collaboration feels like friction to you, this environment won't be a good fit.

What you will do:
  • Own and grow our relationship with AWS.
You will act as the primary connection between 7Factor and Amazon Web Services partner teams, working to strengthen relationships with partner development managers, partner managers, and AWS sellers.
  • Create consistent co-sell opportunities.
You will work with AWS teams to identify shared clients and opportunities where 7Factor can act as the engineering implementation partner.
  • Help position 7Factor as a trusted engineering partner.
Our goal is to become the partner AWS teams think of when clients need strong software engineering execution on cloud-based systems.
  • Develop repeatable partnership motions.
This includes building playbooks, outreach strategies, and operational processes that allow us to collaborate with AWS consistently rather than opportunistically.
  • Support AWS marketplace and funding opportunities.
You will help manage programs such as marketplace listings and partner funding initiatives that help accelerate client engagements.
  • Identify adjacent partnership opportunities.
The AWS ecosystem intersects with many other platforms-DevOps tooling, security automation, data platforms, and AI infrastructure. You'll help identify where these relationships can strengthen our work with AWS and our clients.
  • Work closely with 7Factor leadership and engineering teams.
Partnerships only work when they are aligned with delivery. You will help ensure the opportunities created through AWS partnerships align with our strengths as an engineering organization.

What success looks like:
  • Strong relationships between 7Factor and AWS teams.
  • A steady pipeline of opportunities coming from collaborative efforts within the AWS ecosystem.
  • Clear processes for how partnerships are developed, maintained, and executed.
  • And most importantly, clients receiving better outcomes because the right companies worked together to build the Right Thingโ„ข.

How you're compensated:
We strive to offer sustainable salaries that are in parity with industry, along with competitive health benefits, 401k matching, five weeks of PTO, and spot bonuses for jobs well done. In addition to the standard package, team members are eligible for bonus pools given to all company members based on our overall profitability targets for the year.
