Job description

Xometry (NASDAQ: XMTR) powers the industries of today and tomorrow by connecting the people with big ideas to the manufacturers who can bring them to life. Xometry's digital marketplace gives manufacturers the critical resources they need to grow their business while also making it easy for buyers at Fortune 1000 companies to tap into global manufacturing capacity.

As the Partner Acquisition Lead, you will lead the "top-of-funnel" efforts for our domestic manufacturing partner network, overseeing both the strategic design of recruitment campaigns and the day-to-day management of the acquisition team.

Your mission is to build a high-performing engine that identifies, pitches, and successfully integrates new manufacturers into the Xometry ecosystem. You aren't just managing relationships; you are building the scalable playbook that fuels Xometry's global manufacturing capacity.

What You'll Do
  • Lead from the Front: Actively pitch and close high-potential manufacturing partners, demonstrating "what good looks like" for the rest of the team.
  • Build and Lead the Team: Recruit, train, and manage a high-energy team of Acquisition Specialists focused on aggressive outbound and inbound partner recruitment.
  • Coach for Performance: Conduct regular 1-on-1s, call coaching, and script reviews to sharpen the team's ability to communicate Xometry's value to shop owners.
  • Design the Outreach Playbook: Partner with Marketing to build multi-channel recruitment campaigns across email, cold calls, social media, and trade shows.
  • Target Growth Areas: Identify specific manufacturing verticals or geographic regions that need more capacity and deploy surgical recruitment strategies to fill those gaps.
  • Own the Metrics: Drive daily and weekly accountability for activity volume, lead-to-signed conversion rates, and the initial speed-to-onboard.
  • Analyze the Funnel: Monitor the health of the acquisition pipeline to identify bottlenecks and implement process fixes that increase throughput.
  • Report on Success: Deliver clear updates to leadership on acquisition costs, partner quality, and team progress toward quarterly growth targets.
What You'll Need
  • Operational Excellence: Strong project management skills with the ability to manage a team while simultaneously improving complex processes.
  • The "SDR" Mentality: You understand the grind of outbound sales and know how to motivate a team to hit high-volume targets with a consultative approach.
  • Analytical Mindset: You are comfortable in Salesforce (or similar CRMs) and Excel, using data to justify headcount, spend, and strategy shifts.
  • Communication: Exceptional ability to craft compelling messaging for external partners and clear internal documentation for your team.
Qualifications
  • Experience: 5+ years of total experience, with at least 2+ years in a leadership/management role (e.g., SDR Manager, Inside Sales Manager, or Partner Acquisition Lead).
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in marketplaces, B2B SaaS, supply chain, or manufacturing is highly preferred.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Tooling: Proficiency with CRM software (Salesforce), sales engagement tools (Outreach/Salesloft), and data visualization tools (Tableau/Looker).
