Job Description Summary
ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT:
The Financial Aid office exists to coordinate all financial assistance offered to students at the University. This includes all Federal, State, Institutional, and aid from outside sources.
POSITION SUMMARY, ROUTINE TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Financial Aid Office Student Assistants spend most of their time scanning and verifying documents, assisting other students and visitors, running errands, assisting with mailings, and other general office duties.
  • Scanning Documents - Use of computer and scanner
  • Running Errands - knowledge of the SSU Campus
  • Greeting visitors - friendly, welcoming manner

Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Registered full-time SSU student
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and follow instructions
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and social media platforms
  • Follow SSU dress code policy
