Job description

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Anesthesiologists to join our distinguished team at Piedmont Rockdale Hospital. The ideal candidate will have experience in general anesthesia and demonstrate a commitment to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care within a collaborative and innovative clinical environment. Available Schedules:
MD Full Time : 1/6 call rotation, all in house. 24 hour weekend call. Post Call day off.
MD Part Time with Benefits :2 weeks/month alternating or 2 on 2 off.1 night shift per week and 1-2 weekend shifts per month. In House Call.
Position Highlights &
Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive perioperative anesthetic care, including preoperative evaluation, intraoperative management, and postoperative care
  • Supervise and collaborate with Anesthesia Advanced Practice Providers (CRNA or Anesthesiologist Assistant) to ensure safe and effective anesthesia services
  • Participate in providing 24/7 anesthesia coverage in coordination with the anesthesia care team
  • Utilize Epic EMR for patient documentation and clinical workflows
  • Contribute to a culture of clinical excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement

Requirements:
  • MD or DO degree
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
  • Active Georgia medical license (or eligible and willing to obtain Georgia licensure
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in general anesthesia (newer physicians with relevant training are encouraged to apply)
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
