Job description

The Part-Time IT Support Specialist is a 100% on-site position working 15-20 hours and 2-3 days a week from Hadco Metal office and warehouse operations in Claremore Oklahoma.

Description
Support local users at Hadco's Claremore, OK facility and provide practical hands-on IT support for office, warehouse, sales, and operations users. This is an on-site, part-time role. The position works closely with the local Oklahoma operation, while reporting to Hadco IT.
Responsibilities
โ€ข Diagnose hardware, software, printing/scanning, tablet, mobile device, and basic network connectivity issues in a Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 environment. Use remote support tools and work with Hadco IT when needed.
โ€ข Provide local hands-on support for PCs, laptops, tablets, scanners, printers, phones, monitors, docks, and other common business devices.
โ€ข Assist users with Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Office.
โ€ข Assist with basic user/account support in Active Directory / Entra ID under the guidance of Hadco IT.
โ€ข Perform basic network troubleshooting, including Wi-Fi, cabling, printer/scanner connectivity, security camera connectivity, and general connectivity issues. Escalate network changes or complex issues to Hadco IT.
โ€ข Help keep local IT equipment organized, charged, accounted for, and ready for use.
โ€ข Assist with local hardware setup, moves, replacements, and basic device configuration.
โ€ข Answer and resolve local technical helpdesk tickets/calls efficiently and professionally.
โ€ข Document issues, actions taken, and items that need escalation.
โ€ข Effectively translate technical concepts into easy-to-understand language to assist non-technical users.
โ€ข Provide practical hands-and-eyes support for Hadco IT when remote troubleshooting is needed.
โ€ข Follow Hadco IT standards and procedures.
โ€ข Work on various IT tasks and projects as needed.
Additional Comments
โ€ข This is an on-site part-time position in Claremore, OK, expected to be approximately 20 hours per week over 3 days.
โ€ข Work schedule will be coordinated with Hadco based on site needs.
โ€ข Occasional after-hours, weekend work, or on-call support may be required from time to time.
โ€ข Responsibilities are subject to change with technology and corporate needs.
Requirements
Base Requirements
โ€ข 3+ years of desktop support, helpdesk, field support, or similar IT support experience.
โ€ข Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

โ€ข Ability to follow procedures, document work, and provide clear status updates.
โ€ข Ability to communicate with all levels of staff and work in a team environment.
โ€ข Experience with Microsoft products, including Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Office, Outlook, and Teams.
โ€ข Experience in Active Directory / Entra ID with basic user/account support, password resets, and access troubleshooting.
โ€ข Basic networking knowledge, including Wi-Fi, cabling, IP addresses, DNS/DHCP concepts, and connectivity troubleshooting.
โ€ข Experience supporting printers, scanners, tablets, mobile devices, and common business peripherals.
โ€ข Experience using an incident or call tracking system.
โ€ข Comfortable working in a warehouse / operations environment.
โ€ข Willingness to ask questions and escalate issues when needed.
Education and Experience
โ€ข High School Diploma or equivalent.
โ€ข 3+ years experience providing IT support in a business or field-support environment.
โ€ข Experience supporting PC-based software applications in a network environment (Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365).
โ€ข Experience in a Windows network environment.
โ€ข Experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment is preferred, not required.
โ€ข ERP or business operations system support experience is preferred, not required.
โ€ข Mobile device / MDM support experience is preferred, not required.
