WHAT YOU'LL DO:
You'll spend your days as a Seasonal Weed Sprayer actively identifying and managing invasive weed species that threaten local ecosystems. Moving between field sites, you'll assess conditions, apply targeted control methods, and document your findings with precision using GPS mapping and Excel data tracking. Your work will directly contribute to preserving the land while ensuring accurate records for long-term management. It's a role where every task-whether spraying, mapping, or maintaining equipment-serves a meaningful purpose.
What You'll Need:
  • 18+ years old
  • High School Diploma
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to obtain Commercial Applicator Certification (Ag Pest Control & Right-of-Way)
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and walk ยฝ mile through rough terrain
  • Ability to operate an ATV with a sprayer and drive a truck pulling a trailer
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, and GPS equipment)

Preferred:
  • Coursework or experience in weed science and invasive species control
  • Experience with GPS mapping
  • Strong map-reading skills
