THE JOB:
The Guest Services Representative at MGM Springfield is pivotal in crafting memorable experiences for our guests through exceptional service and a welcoming demeanor. The ideal candidate will have at least one (1+) year of relevant experience in high-volume call centers or customer service environments, demonstrating the ability to efficiently manage guest requests while maintaining composure under pressure. With a focus on understanding and addressing unique guest needs, the representative will play a key role in creating unforgettable moments that guests will cherish long after their stay.
THE STARTING RATE: $15.75 per hour
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
  • Handle incoming and outgoing calls in a courteous and efficient manner while maintaining composure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Provide dispatch services for guest requests related to luggage assistance, room service, housekeeping amenities, wake-up calls, check-outs, early arrivals, late departures, and paging.
  • Perform data entry for requested services, maintaining accurate records of all interactions and guest requests.
  • Inform guests about property functions and facilities as needed, and maintain complete knowledge of room service menu items.
  • Dispatch bell and limo services according to department policies and provide management with observations to improve processes and services.
  • Operate office equipment, including the beeper system and TDD machine, as required.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
  • 1+ Years of prior relevant experience is required
  • 1+ Years of prior relevant experience in a high-volume call center or relevant customer service experience is preferred
  • Able and willing to work a Part-Time, overnight schedule: Tuesday - Thursday from 6pm - 2:45am including holidays

Pay Rate
The rate for this role is:
$15.75
This rate represents a good faith estimate of the wage rate that MGM reasonably expects to pay for the position upon hire.
The estimated annual commission this role could reasonably be anticipated to receive is: $0 - $100.
Pay will not be below any applicable minimum wage.
Should overtime be worked, employees are paid overtime pay in accordance with state requirements.
