Part-Time Live-Out Nanny New York, NY (Upper West Side of Manhattan)

Position:Part-Time Nanny
Schedule:MondayFriday, approximately 1:00 PM7:00 PM (or MondayThursday 12:00 PM7:00 PM), ~2832 hours/week,
Pay:$3540/hour, DOE
Start Date:Immediate
Location:Upper West Side, NYC (local candidates only)

Overview

Warm family in a small NYC home seeking a loving, engaged, and proactive nanny for their 3-year-old son. The ideal candidate is someone who truly enjoys toddler care, creates a fun and nurturing environment, and can help support the family with light household tasks related to the child. Family also has a friendly 13-year-old Yorkie.

Responsibilities

Afternoon Childcare (Primary Focus)

  • School pick-up and after-school care
  • Engaging toddler activities, playtime, and outings
  • Supporting developmental milestones through age-appropriate activities
  • Bath time and evening routine
  • Preparing fresh, healthy toddler meals

Child-Related Household Support

  • Maintain and organize childs bedroom
  • Childrens laundry, changing sheets, and keeping spaces tidy
  • Empty diaper pail and help maintain childs areas
  • Load dishwasher, wipe down counters, and help reset kitchen/living areas as needed
  • Meal prep/cooking fresh meals for the child (family is open to candidates with varying levels of cooking experience)
Ideal Candidate

Seeking a warm, reliable, and engaging nanny who loves working with toddlers and can become a trusted part of the familys routine. The priority is finding someone who is nurturing, attentive, and proactive with childcare. A candidate who is comfortable helping with light child-related household tasks and simple meal preparation/cooking is ideal.
