Full-Time Nanny | Upper West Side, NYC Location: Upper West Side, Manhattan Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 8:00am-6:00pm or 9:00am-7:00pm; Friday is a half day (8:00am - 1:00pm or 9:00am - 2:00pm) Opportunity for occasional additional hours, including date nights and weekends. Child's age at start: approximately 2 months old Start Date: September 2026 Loving first-time parents on the Upper West Side are seeking an experienced, professional, and engaging full-time nanny to care for their baby girl.

Mom is currently on parental leave and will return to work in December. The first few months will involve working alongside her and establishing a comfortable routine together. The parents work from home on Fridays. They are looking for a warm, attentive, and engaged nanny who will support their daughter's development as she grows. The ideal candidate will enjoy creating playful, age-appropriate activities, spending plenty of time outdoors, taking her on walks, and new experiences that encourage her curiosity, learning, and development. The family is seeking a long-term nanny who can be with them for many years to come!

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the child's care, safety, and well-being Prepare bottles and feedings, and clean and sterilize feeding equipment Diaper changes and the child's daily hygiene Maintain consistent daily routines, including feedings, naps, and play Support healthy development through engaging, age-appropriate activities Read, talk, and engage with the child to encourage language, sensory, and social development Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the child as she grows Manage the child's laundry Keep the main spaces of the home, her nursery, play areas, and her belongings clean and organized Communicate with the parents through text, an app, and in person Requirements Minimum 5 years of professional nanny experience, including significant infant experience 2-3 relevant professional references CPR and Infant First Aid certified (or willing to renew) Strong communication skills Pet-friendly (the family has a friendly Bernadoodle) Up to date on MMR, Tdap, COVID-19, and flu vaccinations, or willing to update vaccinations as needed Non-smoker Comfortable using an app to log the baby's routines Comfortable following the family's preference for minimal screen use around the baby Compensation & Benefits $35-$40/hour, depending on experience and qualifications Overtime paid in accordance with applicable law 10 days of paid vacation 5 paid sick days Paid federal holidays Healthcare stipend OMNY reimbursement Legal payroll (W-2) The Ideal Candidate Warm, nurturing, patient, calm, and genuinely passionate about working with children Confident caring for infants and knowledgeable about early childhood development Positive demeanor and easy to work with Honest and a strong communicator Proactive, organized, and dependableProfessional, emotionally mature, and supportive Interested in building a long-term relationship with the family
