  • Ability to work at least 15 hours per week.
  • Able to work for the next 3 months after start date.
  • Clear & professional speaking voice in fluent English.
  • Ability to work at least 3 weekday evenings 6 PM to 9 PM per week
  • Ability to work one 3-hour weekend shift
  • Ability to work from 9 PM to 10 PM at least 1 weekday per week on seasonal projects contacting the Central Time Zone (i.e. Texas)

UF has an opportunity for you as a Part-Time Telephone Interviewer in the UF Survey Research Center team.

As a Telephone Interviewer, you'll be responsible for conducting surveys over the phone with various respondents. Your communication skills play a vital role in gathering valuable data for academic and business research, while you gain hands-on experience in the field of survey research.
Conveniently located in downtown Gainesville at UF's Innovation Square, the UFSRC is a casual call center work environment that has a flexible part-time schedule which allows employees to balance academic and personal commitments while gaining valuable work experience. Depending upon the department's needs, interviewing shifts are available between 10AM and 10PM on weekdays, 12PM to 6PM on Saturdays, and 3PM to 6PM on Sundays.
To succeed in this role, you'll need exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, a clear speaking voice, and the capacity to adapt to various situations. Basic proficiency in computers and technical knowledge, a willingness to learn new software, and the ability to follow instructions are also essential.
No sales, marketing, lobbying, or fundraising is involved with this position.
At the UFSRC, a Telephone Interviewer can expect:
  • Starting pay of $16/hour plus productivity incentives based on above-average performance.
