Can you work part-time in tech sales?

These roles typically offer flexible schedules and may require familiarity with sales tools like CRM software. Availability depends on the employer and specific job requirements.

How can I make 2000 a week working from home?

Part Time Technology Sales roles can offer high earning potential through commissions and bonuses, especially when building a strong client base and developing product knowledge. To reach $2000 weekly, sales professionals often need excellent communication skills, familiarity with CRM tools, and consistent effort in lead generation and follow-up. Success depends on experience, sales targets, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

What are part time technology sales jobs?

Part time technology sales jobs involve selling tech products or services, such as electronics, software, or IT solutions, but on a reduced-hour schedule compared to full-time roles. Employees in these positions typically assist customers, demonstrate product features, answer technical questions, and close sales. Part time roles can offer flexible work hours, making them suitable for students, parents, or those seeking supplemental income. Training is often provided to keep employees updated on the latest technology trends.

Can you make $500,000 a year in sales?

Part-time technology sales roles typically do not generate $500,000 annually due to limited hours and commission structures. In a part-time technology sales position, you’ll often collaborate closely with full-time sales team members, product specialists, and customer support staff to ensure a seamless customer experience. While your hours may be fewer, you’re still expected to participate in team meetings, share customer insights, and coordinate on sales strategies or lead follow-ups. You may also work with marketing to align on promotions or outreach campaigns. Clear communication and adaptability are key, as your schedule may require you to hand off leads or collaborate asynchronously with colleagues.

Job description

You don't pay us. We pay you.

SV Academy is hiring Sales Development Representatives. Free sales training, a 90-day paid Residency at $2,500/month plus 100% commission, then transfer to a partner company's payroll at $55,000 - $95,000 with full benefits.

No tuition. No loans. No deferred-income agreement. We're paid out of the hiring budget the partner was already going to spend — which is why this costs you nothing.

Cohorts begin every week and are limited to 25 Residents. Apply early to be considered for the next available start date.

Compensation at Each Stage
  • Days 1–10 — Free sales training. No tuition, no fee, no debt. Live, instructor-led training on Zoom, Monday through Thursday, 6–9 pm (ET or PT).
  • Days 11–100 — Paid Residency. $2,500/month base + 100% of the commissions you earn. You'll be a W-2 employee of SV Academy, embedded at a partner company.
  • Day 100 onward — Transfer to the partner's payroll. $55,000 - $95,000 in total annual compensation (base + commission). Full health, dental, vision, and retirement benefits begin the day you transfer.
How the 100 Days Work

Days 1–10 — Free sales training. Ten days of live, instructor-led training. Monday through Thursday, 6–9 pm (ET or PT), on Zoom. You'll learn the fundamentals of B2B sales: outbound calls, email and LinkedIn outreach, objection handling, qualification, and the tools used by modern SDRs (Salesforce or HubSpot, Outreach or Salesloft, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator).

Days 11–100 — Paid Residency at a partner company. You'll work full-time as a W-2 employee of SV Academy at one of our partner companies. Real sales work: Outbound prospecting via phone, email, and LinkedIn; qualifying inbound leads; scheduling discovery meetings for Account Executives. You'll get daily coaching from an SV Academy mentor and from the partner's sales leadership.

Day 100 — Transfer to the partner. Successful Residents transfer directly onto the partner's payroll at the compensation above, with full benefits starting that day.
