Part-Time Technology Assistant
The Oceanport Board of Education is seeking a Part-Time Technology Assistant to work Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., not to exceed 25 hours per week.
Professional Qualifications:
  • Demonstrates initiative, independence, and sound decision-making appropriate to assigned responsibilities
  • Ability to quickly learn and apply new information, systems, and procedures
  • Looking to grow professionally and learn about school technology and infrastructure
  • Produces well-organized, accurate, and detailed work
  • Strong technical and interpersonal communication skills

Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the District Technology Coordinator, the Technology Assistant will:
  • Troubleshoot staff and student driven technology help requests
  • Assist with the daily management, maintenance, and deployment of district PCs, Chromebooks, and other technology hardware
  • Assist in management of Microsoft Active Directory and Google For Education domains
  • Regularly update the district website
  • Assist in the management of district phone system

Salary Range:
$31,200 - $33,800
Benefits:
This position does not include health insurance. Employees are entitled to sick, personal, and family illness days and will be enrolled in the Defined Contribution Retirement Program (DCRP).
