Job description

Our Site Safety Company based in NYC is seeking a highly qualified Licensed NYC DOB Site Safety Coordinator to oversee safety measures for a project located in New York City. Ideal candidate must hold a valid NYC DOB SSC license as well as a FDNY S56 Fire Safety Manager license. Candidate must be in good physical shape as the job requires them to be active.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement site-specific safety plans to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and take necessary corrective actions.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safety measures and recommend improvements as needed.
  • Train site personnel on safety procedures and maintain accurate safety records.
  • Serve as a liaison between the project team and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards.
  • Investigate accidents and incidents to identify causes and develop strategies to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Site Safety Coordinator
  • Valid NYC DOB SSC license and FDNY S56 Fire Safety Manager License.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and NYC building codes.
  • Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Good physical condition and ability to move around the site comfortably.
