Defense System Analyst
The Opportunity:
As a defense mission professional, you ask questions others don't. You understand the nuances of complex situations. You use your skills to think bigger and push further, solving complex problems. We're looking for an expert like you to create solutions for missions that keep our nation safe.
As a defense mission expert, you'll bring your analytical, cybersecurity, and risk management expertise to work on projects. You'll identify, analyze, and evaluate complex and highly sensitive systems, policies, processes, and instrumentation related to foreign threats and homeland security. You will determine procedures for solving complex design, integration and analytical problems. Conduct cybersecurity and risk management activities to include continuous monitoring and change management, vulnerability assessments, and compliance inspections. You will administer systems and engineering to include configuration control, security patch management, monitor system health and troubleshoot hardware and software interfaces. You will conduct hardware and software upgrades, manage COMSEC accounts, and provide Tier 1/2 troubleshooting report for enterprise users.
You'll be a trusted advisor to our clients, and key enabler to the mission. We'll look to you to identify, analyze, and evaluate complex systems, policies, and processes.
You'll guide the work we do and the solutions we deliver for national security, strategic planning, and defense mission planning.

You Have:
  • Experience conducting security lifecycle operations
  • Experience with configuration control management
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity practices and risk management framework
  • Knowledge of system troubleshooting and performance optimization
  • Ability to conduct hardware and software lifecycle support
  • Top Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED and 5+ years of experience with IT systems and cybersecurity, or Bachelor's degree in IT

  • Experience with change management
  • Experience with Top Secret and SAP Networks
  • Experience with COMSEC handling and custody
  • Experience with VTC and Help Desk Operations
  • TS/SCI clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
