Position Specific Summary
This hybrid position will be located in the Watergate Complex on the Foggy Bottom campus and is part-time as a Federal Work Study position. This position will primarily service the Occupational Therapy (OT) program.
This position will work closely with the admissions officer to convey the values, features, and unique opportunities of the program through marketing communications. This position will also support all faculty, staff, and students within the OT program.
The student will support the hybrid OT program with creative, communication, and organization efforts. The student will have opportunities to develop their creative design skills through bulletin boards and published content, such as articles and social media posts. They will also develop organizational skills by assisting with facility orderliness through label-making, filing, sorting equipment and manuals, and tracking inventory. Other assignments or office needs may vary to support students and the program.
Standard Position Description
The student will serve as an administrative assistant and perform tasks to support the operations of the the office or department. Task may include managing small to mid-level projects or events, responding to departmental inquiries, assist with communications and marketing, data entry, and other general office tasks. Special projects or duties may be assigned related to specific office needs.
