Job description

**Please note: This is a part-time, seasonal position located at the Macon Coliseum in Macon, GA during Macon Mayhem home games and occasional office hours (if needed).**
Are you passionate about sports and eager to contribute to a dynamic team? The Macon Mayhem are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join us as Game Day Staff for all 30 home games.
As a member of the Mayhem Game Day Staff, you'll play a key role in enhancing the fan experience at all Macon Mayhem home games. This position will involve hands-on work in game day operations, event planning, and fan engagement, ensuring that every fan enjoys a memorable experience.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
โ€ข Assist with game operations and execution of Live Game Entertainment (including anthem singers, in-game promotions, chuck-a-puck, etc.)
โ€ข Set up and break down intermission games and game day materials
โ€ข Prepare giveaways and promotional items for game nights
โ€ข Create a fun, energetic atmosphere in the arena
โ€ข Perform other duties as assigned
โ€ข Encourage community growth and involvement with the team and organization
QUALIFICATIONS:
โ€ข High energy and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team environment
โ€ข Strong decision-making skills and the ability to make quick, effective decisions
โ€ข Availability to work weeknights, weekends, and holidays as needed
โ€ข Previous experience in sports or event management is a plus, but not required
โ€ข A genuine interest in the sports industry
