Job description

Description:

The critical care nurse / pre-hospital registered nurse is responsible for the delivery of the highest level of quality of care and customer service to all patients transported via ambulance within the scope of practice published by the Bureau of EMS. The Critical Care Nurse must demonstrate advanced critical care skills and problem-solving techniques in compliance with the Pennsylvania PA State EMS protocols, medical command direction, and company policies and procedures and serve as a clinical resource for all field and communications personnel.

Requirements:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

· One year of pre-hospital or inter-facility transport experience

· Current driver’s license

· Current PA PHRN certification

· Current CPR for the Healthcare Professional

· Current ACLS provider

· Current PALS provider

· Current PA DOH EMSVO endorsement

· Critical Care Endorsement (required)
