Job Overview

To protect and serve Shriners Hospital for Children Northern California patients, visitors, staff and all other persons on hospital property. To protect the organizations' property and buildings. To greet and assists visitors, patients, employees and medical staff at the front lobby desk in a pleasant and professional manner. Answering telephone calls received, routing the calls, paging and taking messages. Answering phone calls from hospital staff members and responding to their needs or requests in a respectful and timely manner.

This position is part time, non exempt and benefits eligible. The pay range for this position is $24.03 - $33.92/hour. Compensation is determined based on relevant experience and department equity. This position includes working weekends.

Responsibilities
  • Performs a variety of functions related to the safety and security of hospital staff, patients, families, visitors and general public in accordance with city, state and federal laws and regulations. Consistently maintains excellent customer service and guest relations skills and abilities
  • Exercises responsibility in responding to security needs of hospital visitors, patients and staff, as well as greeting and assisting all personnel at the front lobby. Consistently maintains excellent customer service and guest relations skills and abilities
Qualifications

Required:

  • Consumer Affairs Security Officers License
  • State drivers license
