Job description

Role Overview: Associate, Fund Finance Capital Markets

The Global Fund Finance business within the Capital Solutions Group in Global Banking & Markets provides financing and capital markets solutions across the private markets ecosystem. The Fund Finance Capital Markets team specifically works on capital markets transactions, including CFOs, rated feeders, GP financings, GP Stakes financings and other fund finance transactions syndicated to the market.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Support the origination, structuring, and placement of fund finance capital markets transactions 
  • Diligence fund strategies, GP structures, LP portfolios and investor bases
  • Build financial models, prepare investor marketing materials, and support internal committee processes
  • Assist with capital markets execution, rating agency processes and syndication activities
  • Coordinate with clients, legal counsel, credit risk, and internal stakeholders throughout transaction execution
  • Partner with other GS Fund Finance / Classic FIG teams and their respective offerings (NAV, Subline, ABL, CLO, GP advisory) to optimize financing strategies with clients

Qualifications & Requirement

  • Experience: 1-2+ years of experience in fund finance, investment banking, private credit or structured finance.
  • Technical skills: Strong financial modelling, analytical and communication skills
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required

Required Licensing

  • SIE, Series 7, Series 63 and/or Series 79 (or obtained within four months of joining)

Salary Range 
The expected base salary for this New York, NY, United States-based position is $150000-$225000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
