PART-TIME ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Location: El Paso, TX

Employment Type: Part-Time

Schedule: Tuesday – Thursday, In Office

Pay Range: $15.00 – $25.00 per hour, based on experience

A growing construction company in El Paso, TX is seeking a dependable and organized Part-Time Administrative Assistant to provide general administrative and office support. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, professional, comfortable working independently, and enjoys keeping an office organized and running smoothly. The Administrative Assistant will support day-to-day office operations and assist management and project personnel with a variety of administrative tasks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide general administrative and clerical support to the office and management team
  • Answer and direct phone calls and respond to routine inquiries
  • Monitor and respond to emails and other correspondence
  • Maintain organized electronic and paper files and records
  • Prepare, format, scan, copy, and distribute documents
  • Enter and maintain information in spreadsheets, databases, and company systems
  • Assist with scheduling meetings, appointments, and other office activities
  • Assist with preparing invoices, purchase orders, work orders, and other documentation as needed
  • Maintain office supplies and assist with ordering supplies when needed
  • Assist with tracking documents, paperwork, and project-related information
  • Provide administrative support to construction and project management personnel
  • Assist with data entry and maintaining accurate records
  • Perform basic Microsoft Office tasks, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
  • Assist with special projects and other administrative duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous administrative, clerical, office, or customer service experience preferred
  • Construction industry experience is a plus but not required
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
