Remote Physical Therapist (PT) โ€“ Illinois School District
Fully Remote | Part-Time | Immediate Start

At MIYO Health, we are passionate about connecting schools with high-quality clinicians through innovative virtual service delivery. Our mission is to help students thrive by providing flexible, student-centered support while empowering providers to do meaningful work from wherever they are.

We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to provide remote services for an Illinois school district. This opportunity involves supporting an 11th-grade student with autism who is currently receiving homebound instruction and requires compensatory services.

Due to prior challenges with virtual screen engagement, services will begin in a consultative model, with a primary focus on coaching the parent to implement strategies and support the student effectively.

Position Details
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Through End of Current School Year: Approximately 30 minutes per week
  • Extended School Year (ESY): Approximately 1.5 hours per week
  • 2026โ€“2027 School Year: Approximately 30 minutes per week anticipated
  • Service Model: Virtual consultative support
  • Current School Year: Collaboration with onsite providers as needed
  • ESY: Fully virtual
  • Parent and district would like to meet with the provider prior to the start of services

Requirements

Qualifications
  • Active Illinois Physical Therapist license required
  • Experience working with school-aged students preferred
  • Experience supporting students with autism preferred
  • Strong communication and parent coaching skills
  • Comfortable providing teletherapy and consultative services
