Job Intent:
We need to maximize the time of the Material Consultants to find new opportunities for 3form. In many cases, the Material Consultants have successfully trained and educated numerous customers and specifiers in their markets about the capabilities of 3form. As a result, specifications are coming in without their involvement. This is evidenced by receiving RFQs, email pricing requests, and website leads for opportunities without existing PIDs. This initiative aims to empower Material Consultants to focus on hunting for new opportunities, while we concentrate on farming existing ones. Initially, we look to focus on Lane 1 opportunities that come into our various entry points without PIDs, farm these opportunities, and ensure they are converted to orders efficiently.
Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Inside Sales Representative to join our team. This role is crucial in driving our sales efforts by working closely with contractors to get our products quoted and sold. The ideal candidate will have a strong customer service background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for the construction and design industry. This position will need you to be fluent in all 3form processes and a willingness to perform them as needed to ensure customer satisfaction. This position is part-time working 20-29 hours per week based on the manager's discretion. The successful candidate will work in the office to get trained and then remote. The manager may request this employee attend work in person quarterly for training or team development.
Program Support:
  • Perform all Program, Project, and Contractor support with sufficient volume and velocity
  • Supportive participant in role-playing for training development
  • Take initiative in supporting other IS representatives with administrative tasks
  • Creating PID
  • Adding contractors to projects
  • Creating and updating contractor profiles in CRM
  • Entering RFQ's

Project Support:
  • The role is responsible for escorting customers through the 3form process. The individual will focus on an easy and informed experience. The goal is to make the contractor feel they have an advocate at 3form while educating them on the process and looking out for their interests.
  • All projects with or without PIDs processed and converted to orders.
  • Manage all aspects of project submittals for customers. Including ordering samples, product data sheets, organizing project schedules/lead times, and documenting approvals.
  • Maintain a record of all communications and follow-ups handled by the Inside Sales Representative in project notes found in the CRM.
  • Ability to review all quotes from assigned projects to ensure accuracy. This requires a strong understanding of all lane one products
  • Perform basic level of material take off from customer provided drawings

Contractor Support:
  • Proactively manage the bidder lists by providing technical information, product samples, and other resources to contractors to support the submittal process.
  • Maintain and update CRM systems with client information, project details, and pipeline status.
  • Coordinate with the Client Services team to ensure accurate and timely processing of orders.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to clients by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of inside sales experience, preferably in the construction or building materials industry.

Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to understand technical product specifications and construction documents. Bias to phone calls with follow-up with email.
