What is a part time real estate consultant?

Part time real estate consultants are professionals who assist clients with buying, selling, or renting properties, but work on a flexible or reduced schedule rather than full-time hours. They provide guidance on market trends, property values, and the real estate transaction process. Their role can include showing properties, negotiating offers, and preparing contracts, all tailored to fit their part-time availability. Many of these consultants work independently or with real estate agencies, balancing this work with other commitments or jobs.

How does a part time real estate consultant effectively manage client expectations while balancing a flexible work schedule?

As a part-time real estate consultant, clear communication is key to managing client expectations, especially when availability may be limited compared to full-time agents. Setting boundaries around response times and appointment windows helps clients know when they can expect support and ensures smooth transactions. Leveraging digital tools for scheduling, document sharing, and virtual meetings can increase efficiency and maintain professionalism. Collaborating closely with other team members or support staff can also help maintain client satisfaction during busy periods or when your schedule is constrained.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a part time real estate consultant, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Part Time Real Estate Consultant, you need a strong understanding of real estate markets, sales techniques, and local property regulations, usually supported by a valid real estate license. Familiarity with MLS databases, customer relationship management (CRM) software, and digital marketing platforms is typically required. Excellent interpersonal skills, negotiation ability, and time management make someone stand out in this role. These skills and qualities ensure effective client service, successful property transactions, and efficient use of limited working hours.

Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Winans is in growth mode and looking for a dynamic, driven recruiter to help us expand our presence in North Texas. With thousands of agents in the market and unlimited earning potential, this is a rare opportunity to take on an exciting role in a thriving brokerage.

If you have a passion for real estate, recruiting, and building relationships—or if you are simply a people-person with the gift of gab—this could be the perfect fit.

Who We Are

For over 40 years, BHGRE Winans has been a leader in North Texas real estate. We are a locally and family-owned brokerage, known for innovation, a strong company culture, and a commitment to agent success. We leverage multiple technology platforms to assist in agent recruitment and are looking for a recruiter who can not only utilize these tools but also bring new ideas and recommend additional programs or processes to drive results.

What You'll Do

  • Prospecting and out-reach: Proactively reach out to real estate agents through cold calls, video texts, email campaigns and more.
  • Identify the ideal candidates and book interviews between the candidate and one of our managers.
  • Work closely alongside company leadership to understand the brokerage's vision and culture so you can communicate our value proposition to potential Realtors
  • Track your booked interviews and hires
  • Play an important role in the onboarding process to make sure agents you hire are being well taken care of and are happy.

Who You Are

  • A Natural Networker – You love talking to people, building connections, and creating opportunities.
  • Experienced in Recruiting or Real Estate – Prior experience in real estate or recruiting is a plus, but strong interpersonal skills and a sales mindset are just as important.
  • Self-Motivated & Goal-Oriented – You are driven by results and excited by the idea of unlimited income potential, even in this part-time capacity.
  • Comfortable with Video & Cold Outreach – You are confident in making calls and using video messages to engage potential recruits.
