Job description

Role: Cyber Security

Location: Onsite / Lake Bluff, IL (No remote resource entertain)

Duration: 6 months

Role Overview:

Responsible for coordinating and ensuring that IT Service Owners (ITSOs) provide actionable plans and target completion dates for end-of-life IT assets, including servers and applications. The role involves tracking and overseeing the remediation strategies, which may include modernization, decommissioning, or containerization, to maintain compliance and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Request, collect, and track plans of action for end-of-life IT assets from ITSOs.

Ensure each plan covers the approach (modernization, decommissioning, containerization) and specifies a clear target completion date.

Coordinate communication with IT teams and stakeholders regarding lifecycle status and remediation progress.

Monitor compliance with asset management policies and regulatory requirements.

Support audits and reporting related to end-of-life asset management.

Identify risks in asset transition strategies and facilitate mitigation efforts.
