Job description

Before we get into the details, here’s the most important thing to know:

We like to say we’re customer service people first, we just happen to hold a camera!

Yes, you’ll be capturing photo, video, and drone content, but you’ll also be walking into people’s homes, working directly with real estate agents, and representing our company at every appointment.

The media matters, but the experience matters just as much.

That’s why we’re looking for someone who is friendly, professional, dependable, and genuinely enjoys working with people.

About the Role

We’re hiring a personable, dependable, and coachable team member to join our growing real estate media company serving the Raleigh area.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being out and about rather than sitting behind a desk all day. One day you might be photographing a luxury home, the next you’re capturing drone footage, meeting new clients, and helping local real estate agents market their listings.

No professional photography experience is required. We care far more about personality, communication skills, reliability, and willingness to learn than prior technical experience.

If you’re friendly, tech-savvy, creative, and enjoy working independently while meeting new people, this could be an amazing fit.

What You’ll Do

  • Travel to residential properties throughout the Raleigh area
  • Capture interior and exterior listing photos and basic video content
  • Operate drone photography when applicable (training provided)
  • Communicate professionally with agents and homeowners
  • Follow company shooting processes and quality standards
  • Upload media after appointments (editing is handled separately)
  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience at every shoot

This is an active, field-based role where no two days look exactly the same.

Schedule & Availability

  • Monday-Friday availability required
  • Approximately 20 hours per week
  • Daytime and morning availability preferred
  • Most appointments occur during standard business hours (9am-5pm)
  • Summer months may occasionally run slightly later
  • Flexibility, punctuality, and reliability are essential

One of the best parts of this role is the flexibility and variety. You’ll spend your days visiting different homes, meeting new people, and working independently while still being supported by a great team.

Compensation

  • Paid training at $15/hour
  • Standard photo shoots (including drone): starting at $25 per hour
  • Most appointments average approximately 60-90 minutes on-site
  • Additional pay available for video projects and add-on services
  • Mileage reimbursement provided at $0.30 per mile

What We’re Looking For

  • Friendly and customer-service oriented
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional
  • Coachable and open to feedback
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
  • Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
  • Comfortable driving throughout Raleigh and surrounding areas
  • Creative eye for photo and video composition
  • Comfortable learning new technology and systems quickly
  • Able to think visually and showcase homes effectively
  • Basic comfort with smartphones, apps, and uploading files

Requirements

  • iPhone 15 Pro or newer required (or willingness to upgrade)
  • Reliable high-speed internet
  • Access to a computer
  • Dependable personal vehicle
  • Comfortable spending a significant portion of the day driving between appointments

Customer service, hospitality, retail, restaurant, or other client-facing experience is a huge plus!

Growth Opportunities & Team Culture

We’re a small, supportive, team-first company that values professionalism, collaboration, and personal growth. We regularly connect as a team and work hard to create a positive, enjoyable environment where people genuinely enjoy coming to work.

Why People Enjoy This Role

  • Paid training provided
  • Flexible part-time schedule
  • Mileage reimbursement
  • Opportunity to learn valuable creative and technical skills
  • Supportive and collaborative team culture
  • Independent work with direct client interaction
  • Every day looks different
  • Growth opportunities within a growing company

If you’re dependable, personable, and excited to grow with a positive team while learning valuable new skills, we’d love to hear from you.

Apply today to join our growing real estate media team in Raleigh.
