Job description

Status: Part- Time Hourly FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt
Please note that the candidate must reside in Austin or the surrounding area.
Summary of Position: The Qualified Mental Health Professional - Community Services (QMHP-CS) is responsible for providing Targeted Case Management and Rehabilitative Services to youth with serious emotional disturbances and their families.
  • Services may be provided in the participant's home or appropriate community setting.
  • QMHP-CS will deliver case management and skills-based interventions targeted increasing the youth's natural supports and strengths, fostering resilience and recovery.
  • QMHP-CS is responsible for accurately documenting services, attending Wraparound Team meetings as needed, and communicating participant progress to supervisors, team members, and the referring authority.
  • All services are delivered in compliance with the Texas Medicaid Provider Procedures Manual, the Texas Resilience and Recovery Utilization Management Guidelines, YAP standards, and all state and federal regulations governing the delivery of service.

Pay Range: $23-$25 per hour based on education level and qualifications.
  • Master's Level - $25 per hour.
  • Master's Level - Bi-Lingual - $26 per hour
  • Bachelor's Level - $23 per hour
  • Bachelor's Level - Bi-Lingual - $24 per hour.

Qualifications/ Requirements:
  • Bachelor's in a human service-related field, as defined by Texas Administrative Code.
  • Master's Level - Must possess a master's degree in psychology, social work, medicine, nursing, rehabilitation, counseling, sociology, human growth, and development, physician assistant, gerontology, special education, educational psychology, early childhood education, or early childhood intervention. 25 billable hours of skills training or routine case management required per week.
  • Bachelor's Level - If degree is in an unrelated field, then listed above, applicant is considered Bachelor's level. Bachelor's level required 25 billable hours of skills training or routine case management required per week.
  • Experience in the provision of home and community-based services.
  • CPR/First Aid Certification a plus.
  • Behavior Management (MANDT) Certification a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office. Experience using an electronic health record system is a plus.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
  • ASL is a plus.
  • Position requires reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current automobile insurance coverage.
  • Flexible Scheduling - Evenings and Weekends may be required.
