What is a Travel LPC?

A Travel LPC, or Licensed Professional Counselor, is a mental health professional who works on a temporary or contract basis in various locations, typically to fill staffing gaps or provide specialized counseling services. Travel LPCs may work in clinics, hospitals, schools, or private practices across different cities or states. They help clients manage mental health issues, provide therapy, and offer support, just like stationary LPCs, but their roles require flexibility and adaptability to new environments. This career path is ideal for counselors who enjoy travel, variety in their work settings, and meeting new people.
