Job description

SWJ Technology specializes in providing engineering, planning, and project management services across various industries. We are currently seeking a Quality Support Specialist (Part-Time / Interim) a client in the automotive industry, specializing in car manufacturing. This position is a part-time contract role based in Meadville, PA, requiring on-site presence 2-3 days a week. PURPOSE:
The Quality Support Specialist will provide operational and administrative support to the QEHS Manager at the Meadville facility during the site transition period. The primary purpose of this role is to assist in maintaining quality standards, supporting operational continuity, and minimizing disruptions and customer complaints through the final day of site operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist with the review, revision, and creation of Work Instructions and related documentation.
  • Support day-to-day quality activities to ensure continuity of operations.
  • Provide assistance on quality and operational projects as assigned by the QEHS Manager.
  • Help maintain organized quality records, documentation, and filing systems.
  • Support basic reporting activities and data collection as required.
  • Follow established procedures and work under the direction of the QEHS Manager to meet project timelines and operational objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal personnel to ensure effective communication and execution of assigned tasks.
  • Contribute to maintaining site quality standards during the transition period.A
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate degree, technical certification, or coursework in Quality, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, operations, quality, or administrative support environment is advantageous.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
  • Knowledge of automotive manufacturing......
