Your Future Role

Innomotics is seeking an experienced Manager, Project Management to lead a team responsible for the successful execution of complex engineered product orders and system projects. This role combines people leadership, operational excellence, and strategic project oversight in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

As Manager, Project Management, you will develop and coach a team of Project Managers while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will partner closely with Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality, Sales, and Logistics to drive customer satisfaction and business performance.

This role is ideal for a collaborative and results-driven leader who is passionate about developing high-performing teams, driving continuous improvement, and delivering complex customer projects. You will have the opportunity to influence business performance, enhance project execution processes, and help deliver innovative industrial solutions that create value for customers worldwide.

The role is based in New Kensington, PA. Local candidates are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Project Managers by setting priorities, establishing performance expectations, supporting professional growth, and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide oversight for a portfolio of complex customer projects, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, company processes, quality standards, schedules, budgets, and customer commitments.
  • Manage select high-profile or complex projects, including scope, financial performance, risk management, change management, and customer communications.
  • Act as an escalation point for project challenges and support successful resolution of risks, issues, and resource constraints.
  • Partner with Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality, Logistics, and Sales to coordinate project execution, optimize resources, and meet business objectives.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of integrated project schedules that align contractual milestones, cross-functional dependencies, resource requirements, and customer deliverables.
  • Develop and monitor KPIs related to schedule performance, financial results, quality, customer satisfaction, and on-time delivery; analyze trends and drive corrective actions.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives, standardize project management best practices, and implement lessons learned to improve execution and team effectiveness.
  • Support workforce planning, recruiting, onboarding, and succession planning activities as needed.

Your profile.

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of project management experience leading complex customer-facing projects in industrial, manufacturing, engineered products, automation, energy, or related technical environments.
  • 3+ years of experience leading, coaching, and developing project management or technical teams.
  • Demonstrated success managing project schedules, budgets, customer relationships, risks, and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to travel approximately 10%.

Preferred

  • MBA or other advanced business degree.
  • PMP certification.
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of variable frequency drives (VFDs), motors, or industrial automation products.
  • Experience developing KPIs, dashboards, and management reporting.

The pay range for this position is $97,500 - $167,200. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
