Job description

This position is located at Bureau of the Fiscal Service, Program Support and Audit Division. As a Financial Programs Specialist, you will serve as a Financial Programs Specialist directly supporting a Program Manager by working on system's development and enhancements, and helping manage all the day-to-day operational functions required of the assigned program.

Qualifications:You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.
The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. To ensure full credit for your work experience, please indicate dates of employment by month/day/year, and indicate number of hours worked per week on your resume.
For the GS-13, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service which has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience for this position is:
  • Experience designing, developing, and maintaining data driven dashboards and visualizations in Power BI to support program oversight and executive decision making. AND
  • Experience using Power BI to track program performance, monitor corrective action plans, identify trends across audits and incidents, and enhance reporting for program management activities. AND
  • Experience in leveraging dashboards to strengthen internal controls, support risk based analysis, and communicate program status to leadership, stakeholders, and external oversight bodies.
In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
For the GS-13, you must have been at the GS-12 level for 52 weeks.
Time After Competitive Appointment: Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a non-temporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment.Education:
