Job description

Are you a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We're looking for a Production Supervisor to lead our night shift production team at our Kansas City plant. In this role, you'll be responsible for daily production execution while building a safe, engaged, high-performing team.
You'll oversee shift operations, drive productivity, partner with cross-functional teams, and lead continuous improvement efforts that support safety, quality, service, and cost goals. This is a key frontline leadership role with real impact on our people and our business. If you enjoy leading from the floor, developing people, and making things better every shift, this role might be for you.
A Taste of What You'll Be Doing
  • Production Leadership - Lead all production activities on your assigned shift to meet safety, quality, service, and productivity targets. Execute production schedules, manage material changeovers, and address issues in real time.
  • People Leadership - Provide clear direction, coaching, and support to a team of operators. Build capability through strong communication, accountability, and servant leadership.
  • Safety & Food Safety - Champion a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to all safety and food safety standards. Lead by example and hold the team accountable to our values.
  • Continuous Improvement - Drive an owner's mindset on the floor. Lead and support improvement initiatives using 5S, Lean, root cause analysis, and standard work.
  • Operational Excellence - Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce waste, manage costs, and improve overall equipment and team performance.

We're Looking for Someone With
  • High school diploma or GED required, with substantial, proven supervisory or leadership experience in manufacturing.
  • Demonstrated experience leading people in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Working knowledge of safety and/or quality management systems and programs.
  • Ability to work evenings and lead a night shift team.
  • Strong prioritization and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple competing demands.
  • A leadership style that promotes accountability, engagement, and consistent execution.

Compensation
The annual salary range is $76,200- $99,960, which is based on various factors such as location, experience and skill. Discretionary bonuses based on company and individual performance are also available.
