StraCon Services Group, LLC is seeking a Senior General and Operations Manager to lead our team in providing Technology Information and Management Support (TIMS) services to the Fleet Readiness Center Southwest (FRCSW). This position is contingent upon contract award. This is a senior-level position responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and operational success of a large, multi-disciplinary team supporting a critical NAVAIR mission. You will be responsible for managing daily operations, formulating policies, and planning the use of materials and human resources to ensure exceptional contract performance.
Essential Job Duties:
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate the operations of a multi-disciplinary team supporting FRCSW, overseeing departments such as program management, information technology, acquisition, human resources, and financial management.
  • Manage daily operations and formulate policies to ensure all contract requirements, as defined in the Statement of Work (SOW), are met or exceeded.
  • Lead the strategic planning and allocation of materials and human resources, ensuring efficient and effective use of all assets.
  • Manage through subordinate supervisors, providing clear direction, leadership, and mentorship to ensure high performance across the entire program.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for government stakeholders, fostering a collaborative and transparent relationship.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate submission of all Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) deliverables, including the Monthly Status Report, Financial Progress Report, and Personnel Workforce Reports.
  • Oversee the development and execution of the program's OPSEC Plan, Phase-Out Transition Plan, and other key contract deliverables.
  • Analyze and report on program status, schedules, and budget, and provide strategic recommendations to government leadership.
  • Ensure all personnel meet and maintain the security and qualification requirements outlined in the contract.
Experience Requirements:
  • A minimum of ten (10) years of relevant professional experience in program management or operations management.
  • Demonstrated experience managing large, complex Department of Defense (DoD) or Department of the Navy (DoN) services contracts.
  • Proven experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and leading subordinate supervisors in a government contracting environment.
  • Experience in planning, directing, and coordinating the operations of a private or public sector organization.
  • Experience with financial management, budgeting, and resource allocation for government contracts.
  • Experience supporting NAVAIR, COMFRC, or FRCSW programs is highly desirable.
Education Requirements:
  • A bachelor’s degree in any discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
Security Requirements:
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
