Responsibilities and Duties
WHO/WHAT: Some families celebrate the big milestones. This family celebrates them all. From new words to everyday victories, they're looking for a nanny who believes the little wins deserve the biggest cheers. If sitting on the floor, building train tracks, and chasing giggling toddlers around the backyard sounds like your kind of day, this Peter's Township family can't wait to meet you. One more thing-we already placed their two-day-a-week nanny, and they absolutely adore her. Now they're hoping to find another incredible nanny to complete the team.
Life around this house is wonderfully full. The twins are affectionate, playful, and happiest when they're moving. Whether they're climbing, swinging, chasing bubbles, or requesting "one more toss," these boys keep everyone on their toes in the very best way. Their eight-month-old baby sister is happily along for the adventure. The twins are autistic and have significant speech delays, which means communication sometimes looks a little different here. Rather than relying on words, they use picture cards and other communication tools they've learned through therapy. They receive ABA therapy most mornings, and their therapists often say this is one of their favorite homes to visit. It's a positive, collaborative environment where everyone is cheering these boys on. Experience with autism is certainly appreciated, but it isn't required. What matters far more is your willingness to learn, ask questions, and work alongside an incredible therapy team that's happy to teach you.
Because communication can occasionally be frustrating for the boys, patience is everything. Thankfully, they're also easily redirected, loving, and genuinely enjoy being around people. Their home is filled with encouragement, grace, and lots of high-fives. Both parents currently work from home in separate offices and truly try to stay out of the way while the nanny is in charge. They'll occasionally pop out between meetings but aren't looking to micromanage. Grandma has been an incredible help over the years and, while she's stepping back to enjoy being "just Grandma," she'll still happily join the occasional outing or lend an extra set of hands when needed. Swim lessons, splash parks, and appointments are always done with at least two adults, so you'll never be expected to juggle all three children on your own outside the home.
When the children are settled, you'll help keep things humming with children's laundry, light meal prep, vacuuming, sweeping, tidying, and occasionally letting out their sweet, friendly dog who's convinced everyone is his best friend. Above all else, this family is looking for someone who wants to stay awhile. They're hoping this nanny becomes part of their story for years to come-a trusted teammate who celebrates right alongside them.
THE IDEAL NANNY IS...A CHEERLEADER! You find genuine joy in celebrating the little wins-whether that's a new word, a successful transition, or simply making a child laugh until they can't catch their breath. Patient and nurturing, you understand that every child develops differently and you're excited to meet them exactly where they are. You aren't intimidated by therapy sessions-instead, you're curious, collaborative, and eager to learn new ways to help children thrive. You're playful enough to spend half your day running around the backyard, dependable enough that working parents can fully focus on their jobs, and adaptable enough to roll with whatever the day brings. Organized, trustworthy, and calm under pressure, you naturally become the steady presence every family hopes for. Most importantly, you don't just see a job-you see the opportunity to become an important part of a family's village. If you're ready to laugh often, celebrate the little things, and make a lasting impact on three wonderful children, then we'd love to meet you. Apply today!
