Compensation:

$18 - $20 hourly


Responsibilities:
  • Create a nurturing and stimulating environment for infants, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Communicate effectively with parents to provide updates on their child's progress and daily activities.
  • Maintain a clean and organized space, ensuring all toys and equipment are sanitized and in good condition.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks, adhering to any dietary restrictions or preferences.
  • Monitor and document infants' daily routines, including feeding, sleeping, and diaper changes.
  • Collaborate with parents to establish consistent routines that support infants' growth and development needs.

Qualifications:
  • Prior experience caring for infants (newborn experience required).

  • Strong understanding of infant development and care routines.

  • Infant CPR & First Aid Certification (required).

  • Background check and clean driving record.

  • Non-smoker.

  • Reliable, punctual, and professional.

  • Excellent communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with sleep training methods and soothing methods.

  • Familiarity with baby-led weaning or early feeding practices.

Work Environment & Expectations

  • In-home care setting.

  • May require flexibility in scheduling (early mornings, evenings, occasional weekends).

  • Must maintain confidentiality and professionalism within the family’s home.

  • Minimal personal phone use while on duty.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry infants (up to 30 lbs).
