Description
Brabazon is looking for a part-time Help Desk Specialist or intern in our Green Bay office. With direction of the IT Manager, the Information Specialist's role is to support and maintain the organization's IT deployed hardware and software. The Specialist will identify and recommend cost-effective technology solutions to the IT Manager. They will assist in defining and implementing IT policies, procedures and best practices.
Your daily work in this role will include:
  • Desktop support and responsibility for multiple locations.
  • Install equipment & software, roll out new upgrades to existing infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot issues with users including access, printer problems, and software questions.
  • Project work (as assigned by IT Manager).
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and documentation of standard operating procedures.
  • Work with external support providers to help with issues.
  • Assist in development and maintenance of intranet site for company communication, training, and safety.
  • Provide remote support for users (where applicable).
  • Assist with administration of the company's security awareness training platform.
  • Assist with data entry, updates, and reporting in business systems (CRM/ERP).
  • Software management of: Windows Server 2019/2022, Microsoft Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365 (Office, Exchange Online), Active Directory/Entra ID, Microsoft Intune, Network/Switch configuration, VoIP/UCaaS phone systems.

Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
  • Currently in school pursuing an IT major.
  • Experience with a Windows based computer system is necessary.
  • Strong experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Windows.
  • Computer hardware knowledge.
  • Networking background is a plus.
  • Interest in using AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, Claude) to work more efficiently is a plus - no prior experience required.
  • High School diploma or GED
