Part-Time Medical Assistant Position in Blaine, MN
QualDerm Partners is looking for a motivated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our Blaine, MN team on a regular part-time basis. QualDerm Partners is dedicated to being the leading provider of comprehensive skin and aesthetics wellness, supporting patients throughout their lifetime wellness journeys with superior care in dermatology, skin cancer treatment, cosmetics, and plastic surgery.
In this role, you will contribute to delivering outstanding patient care and ensuring an exceptional patient experience. If you are passionate about dermatology and patient wellness and enjoy working in a team-focused and supportive environment, this opportunity is for you.
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for examination by taking vital signs and recording medical history.
  • Assist physicians during examinations and procedures by providing necessary instruments and support.
  • Perform basic laboratory tests and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
  • Schedule appointments and assist with office communication as needed.
  • Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and proper skincare practices.
  • Ensure examination rooms are clean, organized, and fully stocked with supplies.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Medical Assistant certification preferred.
  • Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar clinical role preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and dermatology-related practices.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and team members.
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic office software.
