The Dental Hub of Athens is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team on a part-time basis -going from 3 days to 4 days in the future. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional dental hygiene care, including cleanings, patient assessments, and oral health education, while maintaining a safe, comfortable environment. You will collaborate closely with our dentists and staff, supporting both pediatric and general dentistry patients.

Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)

Job Description

Perform dental cleanings, scaling, root planing, and patient assessments for all ages, including pediatric patients
Utilize dental imaging techniques (panoramic, bitewing, occlusal, periapical, Cone Beam CT) to assist in diagnosis
Take vital signs and accurately document medical histories following HIPAA guidelines
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive health care
Assist dentists chairside, including four-handed dentistry procedures
Maintain patient records, manage medical coding, and ensure confidentiality
Implement strict infection control, aseptic techniques, and disinfection protocols to ensure patient safety
Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care
Stay current with dental terminology, anatomy, and clinical best practices

Salary Range

Part-time $37 - $42 per hour
