Part Time Mechanical Design Engineer Jobs (NOW HIRING)

About the Opportunity:

Saratech is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer that will provide engineering for aircraft mechanical systems for a large-scale commercial aircraft derivative.

Salary Range:

$75 - $85 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform mechanical engineering
• Must be very proficient in the latest version of NX CAD
• Must understand design principles and GD&T for part manufacturing
• NX CAD software is a MUST

Skills and Abilities:

• Must have Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and minimum 5 years prior relevant mechanical design experience
• Aircraft experience is necessary
• Airframe primary and secondary structure experience is a plus

Other Requirements:

• Complies with all organizational policies and procedures
• Maintains strict confidentiality of all customer and/or employee information to assure customer and/or employee rights are protected
• Adheres to policies regarding notification of absence and PTO requests
• Attends all mandatory management and staff meetings
• Represents the organization in a respectful and professional manner
• Attend and comply with annual health, safety, training and education requirements
• Adheres to dress code, appearance is neat and clean
• Subject to background check
• US Citizen or Green Card
