Job description

Maintenance Staff Opportunity Available! Delcastle Golf Course has a Part-Time Maintenance position available.

General Purpose:
Provides daily housekeeping, laundry, towel services and general maintenance services for all aspects of the operation, including offices, public spaces, restroom facilities, grounds and other areas as required.
 
 Essential Duties:
  • Performs general housekeeping and maintenance for all areas within the operation including but not limited to electrical, mechanical, and structural aspects of the buildings and grounds.
  • Maintains cleanliness and appearance of exterior of the facility including but not limited to emptying trash cans, sweeping walkways, picking up litter, and arranging outdoor furniture.
  • Assure maintenance of the tennis courts and swimming pool.
  • Maintains cleanliness and appearance of interior areas of the facility including but not limited to emptying trash cans and ashtrays, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and arranging furniture.
  • Identify and report to supervisor when supplies are needed.
  • Performs other duties as required.
Education/Experience:
Less than high school education; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
 
Physical Demands:
  • Frequently uses hands, reaches with hands and arms.
  • Regularly climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crouches, crawls, stands, walks, sits.
  • Frequently lifts or carries up to 50 pounds.
Environment/Noise:
  • Occasionally works in wet or humid conditions, near moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles.
  • Frequently works in outdoor weather conditions.
  • Noise level is moderate.
Certificates/Licenses:
  • No certifications or licenses are required.
Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences:
