As of Jun 16, 2026, the average hourly pay for part time mailroom in the United States is $17.35, according to ZipRecruiter salary data. Most workers in this role earn between $15.38 and $18.99 per hour, depending on experience, location, and employer.

What jobs pay 2000 a day?

Part Time Mailroom positions typically do not pay $2000 a day, as they are entry-level roles with hourly wages. High-paying jobs that can reach such daily earnings usually involve specialized skills, executive roles, or business ownership, and are not common in standard mailroom jobs.

What are part time mailroom jobs?

Part time mailroom jobs involve sorting, distributing, and organizing incoming and outgoing mail and packages within an organization, typically for a set number of hours per week. Employees may also be responsible for maintaining mailroom equipment, delivering mail to various departments, and handling special mail requests. These positions are ideal for individuals seeking flexible work hours, such as students or those seeking supplemental income. Attention to detail, organization skills, and the ability to lift light packages are often required.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Part Time Mailroom Clerk, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Part Time Mailroom Clerk, you need strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and typically a high school diploma or equivalent. Familiarity with mail sorting equipment, postage meters, and basic computer systems is often required. Reliability, time management, and effective communication stand out as important soft skills in this role. These skills ensure accurate handling and timely distribution of mail, supporting smooth office operations.

How can I make 2000 a week working from home?

A part time mailroom position typically offers hourly wages that may not reach $2,000 weekly, especially with limited hours. To earn that amount from home, you might need to combine multiple remote jobs, develop specialized skills, or pursue higher-paying freelance opportunities, as most part time mailroom roles are not designed for such high earnings alone.

Can you be a part-time mail clerk?

Yes, a part-time mail clerk position typically involves handling mail sorting, delivery, and record-keeping on a reduced schedule. Many organizations offer part-time roles to accommodate flexible hours, and some require basic organizational skills and familiarity with mailroom equipment.

What job makes $10,000 a month without a degree?

While most jobs requiring no degree typically do not pay that high, some high-paying roles like sales managers, real estate brokers, or entrepreneurs can earn $10,000 or more monthly through commissions, bonuses, or business profits. These roles often require strong skills, experience, and networking rather than formal education.

What are some common challenges faced in a part-time mailroom position, and how can they be managed?

Part-time mailroom employees often face challenges such as handling large volumes of incoming and outgoing mail during peak periods, staying organized under tight time constraints, and ensuring proper delivery within the organization. These challenges can be managed by developing strong organizational skills, familiarizing yourself with sorting systems and building layouts, and communicating proactively with team members and other departments. Embracing efficient workflows and seeking guidance from experienced colleagues can also help streamline the process and reduce errors.
