A Part Time M365 Engineer should possess expertise in Microsoft 365 administration, troubleshooting, and cloud services, typically backed by relevant IT certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate. Familiarity with tools like Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and PowerShell scripting is often required for effective system management. Strong problem-solving skills, communication, and the ability to work independently are vital soft skills for this role. These skills ensure secure, efficient, and reliable M365 environments that support organizational productivity even within part-time capacities.

You'll often collaborate closely with IT teams, end-users, and sometimes third-party vendors to ensure smooth deployment and user adoption of M365 features. Effective communication and time management are key, as well as staying current with Microsoft's frequent platform updates to provide optimal support.
