Job description

The Mechanical Engineering Internwill provide support to the mechanical engineering team.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Perform basic engineering calculations, including tolerance stacks to support design development
  • Participate in product testing, including setup, data collection, and documentation
  • Build and evaluate prototypes in the lab
  • Contribute to root cause analysis and problem solving activities
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by Manager

 Required Qualifications for thisrole include:

  • Actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum of 3.0 GPA
  • Familiarity with CAD software (CATIA or Siemens NX preferred)
  • Basic understanding of engineering drawings, tolerances, and mechanical principles
  • Good knowledge in Microsoft M365 (Excel, Word, Teams, SharePoint...etc.)
  • Excellent communication, attention to detail, and organization skills
  • Willingness to learn new skills and take initiative
  • Ability to work 25+ hours per week
  • Authorization to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future (US Citizen or Permanent Resident).
