Job description

The Chattahoochee Valley Libraries is seeking qualified applicantsfor the position of Part Time Library Assistant. This is a 19 hour per week position in the Adult Services Department at Columbus Public Library.


All applicants must have a High School diploma or GED; have high energy and pleasing dispositions. Applicants should be able to offer technology and reference assistance to the public. The position also requires the ability to help customers with technology needs, teach computer skill classes, and provide one-on-one assistance to customers. Applicants must be able to communicate effectively with supervisors, staff, and the public. Applicants must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evening and Saturday shifts. Working in the evening (until 8pm) and weekend rotations are required. Bilingual is a plus.


Salary:$13.00 / hour
