Responsibilities typically involve helping patrons, shelving books, checking materials in and out, and assisting with library programs. Part-time roles are ideal for students, retirees, or anyone seeking flexible working hours. Benefits and requirements for these jobs can vary depending on the library and location.

What are the typical responsibilities and challenges faced by part time library staff?

Part-time library staff are often responsible for assisting patrons with locating materials, checking items in and out, shelving books, and helping to maintain an organized, welcoming environment. A common challenge is balancing peak times when multiple patrons require assistance, especially during busy periods or special events. Additionally, part-time employees may need to quickly adapt to new technologies and library systems, as well as collaborate with full-time staff to ensure smooth daily operations. This role is a great opportunity to build customer service and organizational skills in a supportive, community-focused setting.

To thrive as a Part Time Library Assistant, you need organizational skills, attention to detail, and basic literacy and computer proficiency, often supported by a high school diploma or equivalent. Job description

FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers in Cumming GA is hiring a Physical Therapist! Our clinic is independently owned and operated, yet part of a vast network of over 600 clinics nationwide.  This allows you, as the therapist, to have the benefits of working for a small company while having access to the resources of a large one.

Our caseload is a great mix of orthopedic, neuro, balance & vestibular, and pelvic floor. If you are interested in balance and vestibular but don’t have much background in it, no worries!  Every therapist can go through FYZICAL’s continuing education program to ensure top level care for balance and vestibular patients, which includes three levels of certification.

Our clinic is equipped with state-of-the-art balance equipment including Solo-Step® overhead support systems, infrared goggles for observing nystagmus to identify specific vestibular dysfunctions, Virtual Reality goggles for vestibular treatments, and BodiTrak balance pad for pressure mapping and performing the CTSIB. Every therapist also has unlimited access to a large internal library of online continuing education as well as in-person classes.

We welcome pelvic floor therapists!  If you are interested in pelvic floor but haven’t been trained, we have an excellent training program with both online and in-person classes!  We believe pelvic floor dysfunction is underreported, underdiagnosed, and undertreated.  We are passionate about bringing greater access to this therapy and getting these patients back to loving their lives.

The clinic is located close to GA 400 in Forsyth County, one of the fastest growing counties in the US. “FoCo” is a great place to live and work, featuring the highest ranked public schools in the state, excellent quality of life, and low taxes.  Nearby, you’ll find easy access to great parks, hiking trails, Lake Lanier, and the Chattahoochee River; as well as great shopping and entertainment at The Collection, Halcyon, the North GA Outlets, Cumming City Center, Ameris Bank Amphitheater, downtown Alpharetta, and more.

If you’re not just looking for a job, but a place where you can prove what you’re made of, you have reached your destination.
