To be successful at the Co-op we are looking for the following:
  • Be the Face of the Co-op: Greet our community shareholders and shoppers with a warm, friendly attitude.
  • Excellent Customer Service- Answer shopper questions and make them feel welcome.
  • Keep Things Moving Smoothly: Efficiently and accurately handle customer purchases using our touch-screen registers.
  • Own Your Station: Maintain a clean, organized checkout area and responsibly manage your cash drawer from open to close.
  • Reliability: Your teams counts on you, you must be reliable and on time.

Requirements
If you have some of the skills below or love doing your own self checkout because it's fun we will train you!
  • Experience working with a touch screen cash register
  • Experience counting back cash or using card machines
  • Experience working in customer service
  • Familiarity or interest in natural foods
  • Ability to perform basic math, including but not limited to addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and percentages.
