Service Coordinator – Part Time

Job Summary:

Kairos Home Care Services, a licensed Nurse Registry, is seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Service Coordinator (Staffing & Administrative Support) to join our team on a part-time, temp-to-hire basis in Orlando, Florida. This is an on-site role and not a remote opportunity.

The Service Coordinator plays a key role in coordinating independent contractors (CNAs, HHAs, LPNs, and RNs) with client needs while ensuring full compliance with state regulations. The ideal candidate has experience in home care or nurse registry operations, including caregiver credentialing, scheduling, and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate placement of independent contractor caregivers (CNA, HHA, LPN, RN) with client service needs

  • Ensure all caregivers meet nurse registry and AHCA compliance requirements, including proper documentation and credentialing

  • Maintain and audit caregiver files (licenses, certifications, background screenings, CEUs, and required documentation)

  • Communicate with clients and families regarding services, schedules, and caregiver assignments

  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support continuity of care

  • Manage scheduling, call-offs, and last-minute staffing needs in a timely manner

  • Assist with onboarding and recruitment of qualified caregivers for registry placement

  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all state and agency regulations

  • Support administrative operations and ensure adherence to nurse registry policies and procedures

  • Recruitment of Home Health Aides, CNA, RN and LPN.

Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree or higher in healthcare administration, social work, business, or related field

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a nurse registry, home health agency, or healthcare staffing environment

  • Strong knowledge of AHCA regulations and nurse registry compliance requirements preferred

  • Experience with caregiver credentialing, file audits, and healthcare staffing coordination

  • Proven recruitment experience for CNAs, HHAs, LPNs, and RNs

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

  • Proficiency with EMR systems and healthcare documentation
