As an Supervisory Immigration Services Assistant, you will provide technical and administrative support to subordinate staff to ensure compliance with USCIS procedures, policies and regulations.Qualifications:The qualifications for this position must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 08/20/2026.
Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the lower grade or equivalent grade band in the Federal service. The Time-in-Grade requirement must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 08/20/2026.

GS-09: You qualify at the GS-09 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, which is equivalent to at least the GS-08 level in the federal government, that equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have experience performing the majority of the following duties:
  • Handling sensitive and/or personally identifiable information for office file movements.
  • Maintaining data information in office systems such as in databases to support processing and/or tracking time-sensitive files.
  • Securely processing incoming or outgoing mail.
  • Overseeing workload distribution to include reviewing and/or maintaining quality control over final work product.
  • Providing instructions and/or additional information needed related to applications and/or petitions.
