What You'll Do:
  • Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
  • Monitor access to the location by greeting visitors, verifying identification and/or credentials, issuing visitor passes when applicable, and directing patients, staff, and guests according to site protocols.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Support front desk operations by answering questions, assisting with arrivals and departures, documenting activity, and reporting maintenance, access control, and/or other security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
  • Be able to work in hospital areas that include the morgue.
  • Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
