TeamHealth is seeking a dedicated emergency medicine nocturnist to join our team at Angel Medical Center in the scenic mountain community of Franklin, North Carolina. This role offers a stable overnight schedule, strong clinical support, and the opportunity to practice full-spectrum emergency medicine in a well-resourced community hospital.
Position Details
  • Annual ED Volume: 19,000 visits
  • Nocturnist Shift: 11p to 7a
  • Collaborative physician team with daytime shifts covered (7a to 3p, 3p to 11p)
  • Daily APC coverage supporting patient flow
  • EMR: Cerner FirstNet
  • Hospital Size: 30 beds
  • Emergency Department: 17 beds, including 2 trauma bays

Facility Description
Angel Medical Center is a full-service community hospital serving Macon and the surrounding counties. In 2018, Angel Medical Center is a Top 100 Critical Access Hospital offering inpatient services that include an intensive care unit and a medical and surgical unit. Angel Medical Center has also been named an Acute Stroke Ready hospital by the Joint Commission and American Heart Association/American Stroke Association. Outpatient services include a wound clinic, chemotherapy services, a full laboratory, digital mammography, CT, MRI, nuclear medicine, rehab therapy, as well as surgical and endoscopy services. The hospital also operates Mission My Care Now - Angel and Care Partners Hospice and Palliative Care.
