We are currently seeking housekeepers in Augusta, GA at $14.50/hr. This will be a temp role with the opportunity to gain full-time employment. Midshifts available.

Housekeeper

  • Full-time positions available
  • Shift: Midshift (2pm-10pm)
  • Background check and proof of employment eligibility required. Weโ€™re looking for friendly, compassionate team players to join our housekeeping team! Provide a superior level of cleaning quality in a hospital environment. Create a safe, clean, and comfortable environment where patients can heal. Responsibilities
  • Perform routine cleaning tasks, including dusting, mopping, and vacuuming.
  • Ensure all areas are sanitized and meet health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages.
  • Follow established procedures for cleaning and waste disposal.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Respond promptly to cleaning requests from staff or management.
  • Assist in training new housekeeping staff as needed.
  • Uphold HHS's standards of quality and customer service.

Physical Requirements

  • Standing, walking, squatting, bending, twisting, kneeling, and reaching continuously throughout a shift
  • Pushing and pulling carts or equipment (over 100 lb.) on tile and carpeted floors continuously throughout a shift
  • Must handle chemicals, including bleach, wax, and disinfectants
  • Must be able to operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the job.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in cleaning or housekeeping roles.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to cleaning practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Familiarity with environmental services and sanitation practices is preferred.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.
